PTI team meets with Pakistani ambassador

RIYADH —
Shabraiz Akhtar, former president of PTI (Punjab wing) accompanied by Raja Zahid Masood Janjua, former finance secretary PTI Riyadh region, and Zahid Imran Warriach, executive member of PTI Riyadh City, recently met with the Pakistani Ambassador Raja Ali Ejaz Janjua.

The meeting came upon a special request by Shabraiz Akhtar and continued for 30 minutes as schedule.

Akhtar presented the agenda of the meeting to the ambassador.

Raja Zahid Janjua congratulated the ambassador over the one-year extension in agreement of Uber driver fleet with the Saudi government. He said all expatriates have welcomed the announcement.

Shabraiz Akhtar requested the ambassador to activate the Overseas Pakistani Foundation and to develop public relations with the Pakistani community. It will of great help in the registration of OPF network, he said.

He talked about issuance of foreign exchange remittance cards to OPF members so that they could get duty credit facility on arrival at home. The ambassador assured full cooperation in this regard.

Warriach requested for a facility to renew the Estate Live Insurance Certificate so that overseas Pakistanis can be benefited from this in case of any emergency.

Shabraiz Akhtar introduced the Rasulian Engineers Organization. He said it was a forum of professional members which is useful for seeking new jobs and helpful for newcomers to settle abroad. Shabraiz Akhtar invited the ambassador to attend the upcoming event in September. The ambassador accepted the offer.
