Changan gets ready to repeat the extreme heat challenge tests

DAMMAM — Almajdouie Motors Company, the authorized distributor for Changan cars in Saudi Arabia, gets ready to replicate its successful experiment "Extreme heat challenge" campaign, to be the 4th consecutive experiment in Saudi Arabia and the 6th in the Middle East, with the participation of experts from Changan, whom specifically attended to assess this experiment and highlight the performance of Changan cars to challenge the heat of summer. The experiment includes driving for a distance of more than 10,000 km inside cities and regions in Saudi Arabia during the hottest season of the year where the heat reaches more than 50 degrees Celsius in some areas.

The campaign convoy depart from the eastern region, specifically from Dammam through a large number of regions for a period of more than 25 days, during which the convoy passes by a lot of rough terrains with harsh climatic nature, including tough heights and harsh rocky slopes and natural obstacles to overcome in order to assess the performance of these cars and identify theirs potential.

On this occasion, Mohammed bin Ali Almajdouie, MD of Almajdouie – Changan, said: “This field experiment in this difficult climate conditions and the practical application of desert driving by experts, comes to confirm the authenticity of our choice of Changan cars, as well as our trust in their ability and outstanding performance.”

He added:” The repetition of this campaign along with the enhancement of its accompanying social activities, comes within the implementation of company’s strategies for the necessity to offer models that are suitable for the natural circumstances and various climatic conditions of Saudi Arabia.” — SG
