MINA – “The Kingdom under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, accords pilgrims great care and attention,” said chairman of the Human Rights Commission (HRC) Dr. Bandar Bin Muhammad Al-Aiban.

“The Kingdom places all of its human and material potential at the disposal of pilgrims so that they can perform their Haj rites with ease and comfort,” Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the HRC Chief as stating on Thursday.

Dr. Al-Aiban reiterated the Kingdom’s total rejection of any attempt to politicize Haj and its religious rituals.

He stressed that the Kingdom strove to enable Muslims from all over the world to perform Haj without any discrimination and irrespective of political or ideological considerations.

He reaffirmed that the Kingdom’s leadership and people welcomed pilgrims of various races and nationalities to Makkah from different countries of the world. These pilgrims have come to the Kingdom to perform their religious rites, glorifying Allah Almighty in the Grand Mosque and the holy sites.

To achieve this, the Kingdom is keen to develop services in the two holy cities and the holy sites. Most important among these are mega expansion projects of the Two Holy Mosques, the accompanying great infrastructure and the large network of numerous service utilities.

Dr. Al-Aiban emphasized that the main goal behind all these efforts is to provide high quality services that contribute effectively to the comfort and ease in which pilgrims perform rituals for Haj and Umrah.

The HRC Chairman further said: “Care for pilgrims is a noble mission of the Kingdom that has been inherited by the leaders of this blessed country, one after the other.”

Since the era of the late founder King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud (may Allah Almighty have mercy on his soul), the Kingdom has continued to attach great importance to caring for the Two Holy Mosques and the Guests of Allah and providing services of high quality to pilgrims.
