TAIF — Taif Season features a range of recreational, cultural and sporting activities, including “Sadet El Beid — Hiking Experience.”
The event is designed to encourage mountain hiking, while providing participants with the necessary safety measures, and training them to use the appropriate tools to practice the sport. Around 100 people have taken part in the event so far.
Buses are provided to take participants to Al-Shafa, where they are assigned a team leader and assistants. They take a path through the rocks up the mountain, overlooking Taif where they can enjoy seeing fields of roses planted near the mountain. —SG
