MADINAH —
The department of health in Madinah has provided medical services to more than 400 pilgrims who are personal quests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman since their arrival in the Prophet's City after completing their pilgrimage in Makkah and the holy sites.

The King has a special program to invite Muslims from all over the world to perform Umrah and the Haj at his own personal expense.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, which is supervising the program, said the pilgrims were medically examined, treated and supplied with medicines free of charge.

The King this year invited a total of 6,500 pilgrims from 79 countries to perform Haj as his quests.

The department said there were no serious diseases among the pilgrims who were complaining from normal symptoms including fever, high blood pressure, diabetes, cough and heat exhaustion.

The ministry has established six special clinics in Madinah for the King's guests which are manned by doctors, nurses and technicians who are working 24/7.

This year’s guests of King Salman include families of martyrs in operation against Houthis and the kin of the martyrs of terror attack on Christchurch mosques.
