RIYADH — LuLu, the region’s largest hypermarket chain, presents its back to school promotion featuring “Shop at LuLu Fly to Nasa”, an exciting competition in search for 12 students to experience and visit NASA Centre, USA. In partnership with Almarai, LuLu will hold this two-week campaign for students aged 9 to 18 years to register and join the online activation, alongside bringing in-store offers on school supplies from 21st August to 5th September 2019.

Shehim Mohammed, Director of LuLu Hypermarket KSA, said: “We have always taken pride for bringing unique and innovative campaigns for the benefit and adding value for our customers. This is the first time that LuLu will lead a great opportunity to children who have the high potential to grow and learn more while having fun through science. Moreover, we have organised a massive collection of school supplies and fashion collection in stores.”

Fly to NASA winners will get to enjoy and experience a one-week trip, which highlights flight itineraries and five days of fun and learning at the Space Camp of NASA Centre. The selection process of the winners involves two phases—first is the preliminary online registration that will accept first round of qualifiers; while the final stage will hold a live quiz bee to get the top 12 winners.

Commenting on the partnership, Joe Obrien, Head of the Modern Trade of Almarai GCC, said: “We have successfully done several partnerships with LuLu in the past, but this is the most iconic campaign by far. We are glad to reach our goal of enriching our consumers’ live everyday not just through our products, but most importantly through educational advancement and personality development of the youth sector from this great initiative.”

With 175 stores operating worldwide, LuLu has continuously been exerting its greatest efforts to provide and sustain the supply of global products at the best rates. With the excellent combination of high-quality offerings and organized logistics system, LuLu remains to be the favorite shopping destination in KSA when it comes to a broader selection of international products. — SG
