Demand for medical education facilities in Saudi Arabia to grow

JEDDAH — The healthcare sector is prioritized by the Saudi government as expenditure on health and social development increased from SR69 billion ($18.4 billion) in 2011to SR172 billion ($45.9 billion) in 2019, registering a significant increase at a CAGR of 12 .1% during the same period, Colliers International said in its The Pulse Series: !2th Edition titled “Saudi Arabia Healthcare Sector Overview — Country in Transformation”.

In its white paper on the healthcare sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Colliers International said with Vision 2030, the Kingdom is going through fundamental structural changes in all economic sectors, including healthcare.
