ISLAMABAD — The imams of Pakistan’s mosques expressed their full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their total rejection of all attacks targeting the Kingdom.

The khateebs of mosques announced the full support of the Pakistani people with the Saudi leadership in countering these Iran-backed cowardly, terrorist Houthi attacks.

Furthermore, the ulema and khateebs announced their denunciation of the criminal terrorist attempts that targeted the country of the Two Holy Mosques. And actually these are botched attacks that are a blatant and flagrant aggression against Islam and Muslims.

The Pakistan Ulema Council organized on Friday several huge peaceful processions in different regions of the country, condemning these recurrent attacks against the Kingdom.

In these processions, the participants expressed their strong rejection of the animosity harbored by Iran and Iranian-backed militias toward the Kingdom.

Forefront among these militias are the Houthi gangs and their helpers and allies including terrorists, extremists and those who harbor malice against Saudi Arabia. And it is their malicious deeds that have exposed them and the bitter regrettable reality.

These huge processions started after Friday prayer with the participants chanting protest slogans rejecting the repetitive crimes by the Iran-backed Houthi militias and their evil supporters, who are wreaking havoc with the security and stability of the Ummah.

Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council Sheikh Taher Mahmood Ashrafi said: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a great country, which Allah Almighty has blessed with incomparable privileges, the like of which none of the countries of the world possess at all.

“Saudi Arabia has the Islamic sanctities including the Holy Kaaba, the Qiblah of all Muslims, towards which all Muslims all over the world perform their prayers.

“It also has the holy sites and it is a big country, which has a special place among the countries of the world, as it is keen to enhance tolerance, extend the bridges of harmony, and establish peace and security in all countries of the world.

“The Kingdom, along with its leadership, deserves gratitude, love, appreciation and sincerity from all Muslims.” — SG
