JEDDAH — The Indian government, in a bid to boost tourism in India, has taken measures to facilitate tourists with a series of revision in the e-Tourist visa for Saudi citizens.
The revisions, revealed through a press statement from the Indian Consulate General, are to the validity and fee of e-Tourist visa for Saudis.
• A short duration e-Visa for tourist, with one-month validity with the visa fee of $25 has been introduced, which would be reduced to $10 during April-June.
• The validity of the regular e-Tourist visa with the fee of $80 has been increased from the current permissible 1 year to 5 years with multiple entry.
• Fee for one-year e-Tourist visa has been reduced from $80 to $40. — SG
