RIYADH — Ahead of Hollywood superstar and four-time Grammy Award winner Will Smith’s new movie Gemini Man premiering this October in the region, TikTok, the world’s leading short-form video platform, is collaborating with Paramount Pictures to celebrate the movie’s release with fans. Rolling out the TikTok #GeminiManChallenge from October 5, the competition will see the star himself give away pairs of free movie tickets to 25 lucky winners around the world.
In the film, Henry (played by Will Smith) is an elite assassin who quickly becomes the target of a mysterious operative who can seemingly predict Henry’s every move. To his horror, Henry soon learns that the man trying to kill him is a younger, faster, cloned version of himself named Junior. As the plot unravels, one of the scenes sees Junior declare “I’m the best” while Henry, who has him cornered, declare “You’re clearly not the best” - the ultimate face off.
Taking inspiration from the movie, The TikTok #GeminiManChallenge will allow users to challenge each other much like Henry and Junior’s face off as Will Smith launches the challenge on his TikTok channel.
Here are the #GeminiManChallenge steps to follow, for a chance to win free tickets to the Gemini Man screening in Riyadh and Jeddah:
1. Record yourself showcasing a skill or talent you have, saying these words: “I am the best”
2. Record a second take of yourself, using the same skill or talent, saying these words “You are clearly not the best”
3. Stitch these together and roll them out on TikTok using the hashtag #GeminiManChallenge
