Sipchem wins Third Place at the King Khalid Sustainability Award

AL-KHOBAR — Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the King Khalid Award, announced the winners of the 2019 version of the award’s three divisions: (Development Partners), (Excellence for Non-Profit Organizations), and (Sustainability) during a press conference held previously this year on the 29th of September.

Sipchem won third place in the Sustainability Award, which emphasizes the organization's ability to build competitive advantages and apply best practices to support sustainable development as well as contributing to the Kingdom's social, economic and environmental development goals.

Sipchem will receive its award next November under the special patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh.

Sipchem won the King Khalid Award in 2014 for the best initiative to build a voluntary team in a large industrial company. The King Khalid Award is an effective and inclusive development tool that seeks to create an environment conducive to giving. The Award focuses on raising the level of performance efficiency, promoting sustainable development and expanding the circle of influence on all target groups through its voluntary initiatives.
