MAKKAH —
As many as 260 buses daily transport a total of 10,800 workers in the expansion project of the Grand Mosque to their homes and back every day, according to Makkah daily on Saturday.

The time the workers spend in the process of transportation ranges between 25-35 minutes before they are transported to their homes in various parts of the holy city.

It is a scene that is repeated twice a day at 6 a.m. when the workers come to the project's site and 5:30 p.m. when they go back to their respective homes.

There are 15,000 workers working in the expansion project for 24 hours a day.
