Saudia announces flight attendant jobs for Saudi young men and women

JEDDAH — Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) ground services have employed 200 Saudi young women in client services at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah.

Before employing them, the Saudi women underwent specialist training to provide them with experience and know-how to render the best services to airlines and passengers.

The first batch has started working on Dec. 17, 2019 while the second batch will begin work on Jan. 1, 2020.

Meantime, the Saudi Arabian Airlines has opened the way for male and female Saudi secondary school certificate holders to submit applications for flight attendant jobs.

The male or female applicant should have a score of 72 in the STEP English language test and should be at least 20 years old and not more than 30 years.

Saudia has allocated privileges for accepted applicants including a competitive monthly salary, SR400 transport allowance, three months basic salaries as annual housing allowance, medical insurance for the employee and his dependents, productivity allowance, travel allowance, and travel coupons for the employee and his eligible dependents.

Saudia has informed the nominees to complete the required procedures and make sure that they have no unsettled violations or unpaid fees.

Furthermore, they should get an Absher printout proving that they have settled their dues and fines. The last day for submitting applications for men is Tuesday Dec. 31, 2019.

As for women, Saudia will continue to receive applications until the required number has been attained.
