RIYADH —
The creators of Iftah Ya Simsim, and beloved Sesame Street shows around the world, have announced the launch of a brand-new children’s show, Ahlan Simsim.

Designed in close collaboration with regional and international education experts, the show presents a social-emotional curriculum designed to assist children in developing necessary foundations for success in school and life.

The new Ahlan Simsim show is part of a broader humanitarian initiative of the same name. The Ahlan Simsim program is a unique partnership between Sesame Workshop and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) that delivers early learning and nurturing care to children and caregivers affected by the Syrian conflict.

The show will premiere in 20 countries around the region on Feb. 2, and also be available on YouTube.
