Riyadh — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman assured Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of the Kingdom’s commitment to the Palestinian rights, during a telephone conversation on Tuesday.

King Salman reaffirmed the Kingdom’s firm position on the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people since the era of King Abdulaziz until today.

“The kingdom's stands by the Palestinian people and support their choices to achieve their hopes and aspirations”, King told Abbas.

For his part, the Palestinian President expressed his appreciation to King Salman for his keenness and interest in the Palestinian cause, and for Saudi Arabia support towards Palestine. — SPA
