JUBAIL — The International Indian School, Al Jubail celebrated its 3rd Graduation Day for students of class XII batch 2019, with 240 students along with their parents attending the ceremony to celebrate their success.
Abdul Ghafoor Danish and Mrs. Niyeti Paruthi, both Higher Board members, chairman of school and members of the school Managing Committee, IIS Jubail, Dr. Zubair Khan, principal IIS Dammam and Mohammed Aamir Khan, principal Dunes International School were present.
The dignitaries were welcomed and escorted by the school band into the celebration hall and the ceremony began with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an.
School Principal Dr. Naushad Ali, in his address, welcomed the dignitaries, parents, and graduates and highlighted the significance of the ceremony. Teachers of Class X and XII were felicitated for their commendable hard work, sincerity, and dedication with appreciation certificates.
The dignitaries were invited to the dais to release the school magazine for the session 2018-2019. The magazine is a reflection of the culture of the school and it is the mirror to the activities, collection of expressions, and portraits of creativity and imagination.
The young graduates of Class XII, boys and girls, dressed in graduation robes and capes walked the stage and were felicitated with graduation certificates.
Danish then addressed the audience and emphasized the role of parents and teachers in the students’ learning process. He accentuated the importance of schooling and the values to carry forward in their lives.
Ms. Paruthi was very positive about her visit of IIS Jubail in the morning. She put on record the appreciations regarding the discipline and neatness maintained in the school. In her speech she stressed students to equip themselves with appropriate and adequate skills and gain knowledge to face the challenges of the future. She urged parents to encourage students to make their choices of career according to their passion and interest and not by pressure from society.
There was an array of cultural programs, which showcased the multiple talents of the wonderful students of kindergarten section to class IV. It was indeed a joyful moment to witness the success of all graduating students. Following the vote of thanks, both Saudi and Indian National Anthems were played. — SG
