ICAD, Chinar, Royal Jurana, Al Burj excel in Kanoo League

JEDDAH — Chinar scroed an exciting win over Butt Sports by 11 runs while ICAD, Royal Jurana, Al Burj to notched easy wins over their respective opponents were the highlights of the 6th week matches of Kanoo Premier League, sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group and organized under auspices of Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).

Mohsin (64) and Usman (54) commanded their way in typical aggressive style to give ICAD a solid 49 runs win over Pak Zalmi. Chinar raced to an exciting 11 runs win over Butt Sports thanks to Kazim (55) and bowlers Muzaffar and Riaz who scalped 2 wickets each, despite a solid century by Javed (115) ending up on the losing side.

Royal Jurana batsman Asad (52) and Ishaq (35) surprised ARM United beating them by 4 wickets despite fighting knocks from Arsalan (57) and Majid (44) ending in vain. Tayab (52 and 2 for 36) and Bilal (47) were the stars of Al Burj 55 runs win over CH XI.

ICAD beat Pak Zalmi by 49 runs

ICAD 210 for 7 20 overs — Mohsin 64 (37b), Usman 54 (21b). Abid 3 for 38, Tauseef 2 for 50. Pak Zalmi 161 for 9 — Abid 53 (26b), Waqas 22, Farooq 2 for 6, Khalid 2 for 24.

Chinar beat Butt Sports by 11 runs

Chinar 217 for 5 20 overs — Kazim 55 (35b), Asim 41, Imran 2 for 43, Hasnain 2 for 52. Butt Sports 206 for 6 20 overs — Javed 115 (54b), Imran Butt 28, Muzaffar 2 for 22, Riaz 2 for 42.

Royal Jurana beat ARM United by 4 wickets

ARM United 198 for 6 20 overs — Arsalan 57 (37b), Majid 44, Abrar 2 for 35, Shoaib 2 for 46. Royal Jurana 199 for 6 — Asad 52 (29b), Ishaq 35, Zeeshan 2 for 26, Atta 2 for 40.

Al Burj beat CH XI by 55 runs

Al Burj 173 for 4 20 overs — Tayab 52 (36b), Bilal 47, Ali 2 for 19. CH XI 119 for 8 20 overs — Arsalan 25, Naveed 21, Afzal 2 for 32, Tayab 2 for 36.
