Corona cases in Saudi Arabia rise to 2,385 with 34 fatalities

RIYADH —
The confirmed cases of coronavirus in Saudi Arabia reached 2,385 in the last 24 hours as the death toll rose to 34, the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday.

Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali told a press conference here that the total number of infected cases in the Kingdom is 2,385, including 1,863 active cases and 488 recoveries.

As of Saturday, the number of those who were infected stood at 2,179. “About 47% of the patients are Saudis while 53% are foreigners,” the spokesman said. The spokesman described the percentage of movement violating the set is "disturbing” as it reaches 40%.
