Only tuition fee to be charged by Pak schools: Munir

Pakistan Consulate’s Arshad Munir Consular (Press) said to provide relief to the parents, the schools will not be charging bus fee and other charges except the tuition fee during these challenging times.

The schools are utilizing the services of their employees from home and ensuring no cuts in their salaries, Munir added while speaking Saudi Gazette.

He said the unprecedented situation resulting from the spread of novel coronavirus has thrown many challenges to all of us.

The consulate is aware of the issues being faced by the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia due to the uncertain financial situation, Munir said.

He said the consulate is in touch with the three Pakistan International schools PISJ-Aziziah, PISJ Rehab, PIST Taif, working in the western region of KSA, to discuss measures being taken for addressing the problems emerging from the new situation.

To maintain continuity in the learning process and to save precious time of the students, he said, all the three schools have initiated E-learning and using social media tools to make distance learning more interactive and effective.

The consulate appreciates the concerns of the parents facing difficult financial situation and the mission is working with the schools for providing space in tuition fee collection in case the crisis continues.
