RIYADH — Indian scholar Dr. Bahauddeen Muhammed Nadwi met with Indian Ambassador Hamid Ali Rao and Deputy Chief of Mission Sibi George here recently. Nadwi, who is vice chancellor of Darul Huda Islamic University of Kerala and member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, was here to attend the sixth general conference of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World, concluded at Imam Muhammed bin Saud Islamic University on November 28.



During the meeting, Nadwi briefed Rao on the activities of Darul Huda University and its efforts to enable the younger generation to improve their skills and talents as well as to score excellent results in the educational, scientific, cultural and communication fields.



The scholar also sought the Indian’s embassy’s support with regard to completing procedures for Darul Huda’s accreditation with the Saudi universities.



Sulaiman Oorakam and Moitheen Kutty were also present at the meeting. — SG
