BURAIDAH – The magic and sorcery combating section in the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Haia) in Al-Qassim region, has nullified a magic spell cast by a housemaid working for the mother of her sponsor. The spell led to divorcing him from his wife and shifting from his former house.



The section received a report from a Saudi national saying that he found a talisman hidden in a pipe in a black curtain in his home. It was placed there by one of the housemaids working for his mother. It turned out to be cuttings of magic spells and a photograph of the Saudi man cut into the shape of a triangle with toothpicks piercing the picture at the two eyes, mouth and forehead.  Qur’anic verses were recited and the magic spell was nullified in three hours.



The sponsor of the housemaid said he suffered due to the talisman for four years during which he divorced his wife who gave birth to two daughters. She shifted from his former house to the new one in search for family stability, but their efforts were in vain.
