Three people died and seven others were injured in a fire that broke out in one of the 25-storey Al-Khaldia towers on Al-Khazzan Street in downtown Riyadh.

RIYADH — Three people died and seven others were injured in a fire that broke out in one of the 25-storey Al-Khaldia towers on Al-Khazzan Street in downtown Riyadh. The Saudi Red Crescent Authority operations room received a report that a fire had broken out at the intersection between King Fahd Road and Al-Khazzan Street, east of Al-Khaldia towers at 11:47 a.m. on Friday. As a result, 10 paramedic teams and four advance response teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire resulted in three deaths and seven injuries, of which two were serious, three cases were treated at the scene while two other injured cases were taken to King Saud Medical City and Al-Iman Hospital.
