Athr gallery in Jeddah opened its doors to a memorable art show highlighting local art and its influence on the new generation
of artists.

In a live installation, a room is filled with galaxies exploring stars

and the infinite universe surrounding mankind projected onto a wall as visitors  listen to the story unfold on headphones and make their way into a gallery filled with semi precious stones and jewelry they can buy on the spot.

Letters, A Group Exhibition with 36 artists offers their individual

take on Omar Saif Ghobash's 'letters' to his 'young Muslim' son. The letters incorporate Ghobash's views on the prevalent misconception about Islam in the world and serve as the root of this exhibition as artists branch out in their own exploration of the plot.  The works are categorized into groups including Fragments of Memory, Landscapes, Youth and Other, Probable Questions, Power of Language and The Grey Area.

The participating artists include Abdulnasser Gharem,  Ahmed Mater, Abdulkarim Qasim, Abdullah Al Othman, Ahaad Al Amoudi , Anahita Razmi, Arwa Abouon, Aya Haidar, Ayman Yossri Daydban, Ayman Zedani, Babak Golkar, Basma Felemban, Dana Awartani, Daniah Al Saleh, Driss Ouadahi, Eiman Elgibreen, Fahad Burki, Faycal Baghriche, Hajra Waheed, Hazem Harb, James Clar, Joseph Rodriguez, Jowhara Al Saud, Lulwah Al Homoud, Manal Al Dowayan, Muhannad Shono, Nadine Hammam -  Nasser Al-Salem, Rayyane Tabet, Saeed Gamhawi, Sara Abdu, Sara Rahbar, Ushmita Sahu,Yara El-Sherbini and  Zahrah Al Ghamdi.
