2017 GMC Sierra Denali

THE Sierra Denali commands respect as the ultimate expression of GMC’s professional grade style, luxury and capability. The distinctive 2017 Sierra Denali delivers GMC capability with unique design cues and exclusive features. The latest model focuses on an enhanced driver alert package and exclusive exterior options.

Like all Denali models, the 2017 Sierra Denali wears a signature chrome grille, unique 20-inch wheels and 6-inch chrome assist steps, with a new power-articulating assist step available on models. Exterior cues include body-color bumpers, chrome exhaust tip, a polished stainless steel exhaust outlet, as well as a factory-installed spray-on bed liner with a three-dimensional Denali logo and unique interior decorative trims.

In addition, the premium truck boasts LED headlamps with the GMC signature LED daytime running lights, thin-profile LED fog lamps and LED tail lamps. The 2017 Sierra Denali is available in two new exciting colors – Dark Slate Metallic and Pepperdust Metallic.

Advanced engineering in the Sierra Denali is manifested in next-generation technologies such as Lane Keep Assist, which helps drivers keep the truck in its lane with subtle steering input, and IntelliBeam headlamp control automatically adjusts the high beams for oncoming traffic.

A new feature in the safety alert package is the Low Speed Forward Automatic braking that uses the same camera sensor and supplements the three-step visual, haptic and sound alert by automatically applying the brake if there is no response from the driver, in order to stop the vehicle and avoid a crash altogether.

Moreover, the 2017 model continues the tradition to be the only full-size truck to offer real-time damping thanks to its Magnetic Ride Control that reads the road for drivers every millisecond through its sensors. Furthermore, the available 6.2L V-8 and eight-speed automatic transmission and connectivity features, allows the Denali to retain its position as the most refined, technically advanced truck on the market. Its 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque (623 Nm), delivers the most power offered in a light-duty pickup truck, capable of a trailering rating of 5,443Kg maximum under SAE J2807 Recommended Practices.

The Denali’s high-tech interior features provide drivers with an 8-inch-diagonal Customizable Driver Display that boasts a unique Denali-themed screen at initial startup. The truck’s standard eight-inch-diagonal color touch navigation radio with IntelliLink, located above the center console, serves as the main hub for Bluetooth-connected phones and portable devices connected through four standard USB ports.

Additional Denali-specific interior details include script on the bright door sills and embossed into the front seats, as well as real aluminum trim, wireless charging, a Bose audio system, heated and vented leather front bucket seats, front and rear park assist.

The 2017 Sierra Denali is available with a number of features that are engineered for serious towing. Including the available NHT max trailering package, which features a 9.76-inch rear axle, heavy-duty rear springs, unique shock tuning, enhanced cooling and an integrated trailer brake controller to optimize capability safety, and comfort when trailering. — SG
