THE SwissEnergy project co2auplancher is offering a specific platform for energy-efficient vehicles at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show slated on March 9-19, 2017.

Co2auplancher vehicles emit a maximum of 95g CO2/km and fall under energy efficiency category A. Vehicles of this type are on offer from a wide range of suppliers at the Motor Show. Visitors can easily use the Salon Car Collector app to find these energy-efficient vehicles and enter them in a collectors' passport. A full passport entitles its holder to take part in the prize draw for a Ford Mondeo Hybrid. The vehicle awaiting the winner is exhibited at co2auplancher's information stand at the entrance to Hall 1. co2auplancher's presence at the Motor Show is supported by movi-mento.ch.

"The Geneva Motor Show and SwissEnergy have been partners for many years now", explains Thomas Weiss, a specialist from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE). "At the Geneva Motor Show, manufacturers present their latest models and technologies. Energy efficiency is becoming increasingly important in this context and is also a key criterion for potential buyers. The Salon Car Collector app brings visitors closer to these energy-efficient vehicles."

New to the app is a feature that pinpoints the vehicles' locations. At any time, users can see precisely where they are at the exhibition center and which energy-efficient cars are located in their vicinity. Android and iOS users can already download the Salon Car Collector app for free.
