Nissan has made the award-winning new Nissan Juke crossover even more distinctive for Middle East customers and enthusiasts, with two new optional ‘Personalization Packs’ exclusive to the region.

“The new Nissan Juke recently won the ‘Best Compact Utility Vehicle’ categories in two important regional industry awards with the judges for both Middle East Car of the Year and Arab Wheels justifiably giving it top honors,” said Samir Cherfan, Nissan Middle East’s Managing Director. “Building on these significant achievements, Nissan is now giving Juke enthusiasts the opportunity to make their iconic cars more personal to them – something that motorists are extremely keen to do in this part of the world.”

Available as options on both SL and SL Turbo model Jukes, two packs are available depending on the specific market. With contrasting colored exterior mirrors and door handles, as well as interior accents, they make the Nissan Juke stand out from the crowd like never before, asserting its big personality with attention grabbing color combinations of ‘red & white’ or ‘black & yellow’ available for customers in the lower gulf markets. As in Saudi Arabia, customers can choose between two packs, the ‘black & yellow’ and ‘yellow & black’.

“The new Nissan Juke is already one of the world’s most distinctive and individual vehicles,” added Cherfan. “It offers class leading levels of safety, practicality, efficiency and value for money. Now our customers have even greater choice when it comes to expressing their unique personalities through their cars, with fun color schemes that cannot fail to turn heads wherever they go.”

The Nissan Juke SL is powered by a 1.6-litre naturally aspirated engine that generates 117hp and 158Nm of torque, while the SL Turbo punches above its weight with direct injection and forced induction bringing 190hp and 240Nm.

Standard features include cloth upholstery, four-speaker CD/MP3 stereo with AUX port, power windows, electric mirrors, rear-view camera and the 60/40 folding rear seats. Leather upholstery is available, as is NissanConnect, sunroof, fog lamps, automatic air conditioning and intelligent keyless entry with starter button.

Over the past year, the Nissan Juke has forged ahead with highly impressive sales results. The vehicle now has a six per cent share of the SUV-S market segment – jumping from five per cent a year ago. In the UAE, the Juke’s share has jumped from eight to 11 per cent and, in March 2015, it was the best-selling car in its segment in the entire country. It’s a success story repeated throughout the region and, as Nissan looks forward to 2016, it does so from a position of enormous strength through ‘Innovation that Excites’. — SG
