THE all-new 2017 Corvette Grand Sport goes on the market complementing the range, bringing pure expression of the car’s motorsports-bred pedigree. Boasting additional features including a 6.2L LT1 V8 engine capable of 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft. of torque for the inner race driver.

Corvette is a legendary sports car that gave birth to the term American muscle, and continues to be one of the most technologically advanced sport cars. Like the 2015 Le Mans-winning Corvette C7.R GTE Pro racecar, the new Grand Sport combines a lightweight architecture, a track-honed aerodynamics package, Michelin tires and a naturally aspirated engine.

The 2017 Corvette Grand Sport offers an estimated 1.05g in cornering capability – and up to 1.2g with the available Z07 package.

In all trims and models, Corvette offers its drivers with the lightest in lightweight chassis technology, magnetic ride control and lightning quick 8-speed transmission with performance shift algorithm, for the avid race driver. The 2017 Grand Sport’s dry-sump oil system delivers oil flow through the most extreme cornering, helping Grand Sport deliver a consistently high level of performance.

“The high performance race car is set into this region’s culture and Corvette is a mainstay for many car collectors and race drivers. Corvette is one of those legendary cars that is extremely popular here in the region as it continues to be one of the most advanced sports cars. The 2017 Grand Sport takes track-bred technology to a new, exciting street legal threshold. With its arrival, the Corvette range offers a spectrum of high performance at price points that suit even the most demanding inner race car drivers,” said Muneer Al Hasan, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager. Chevrolet KSA.

He Added: “A 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collectors Editions will also be made available to our Saudi Corvette enthusiasts. Only 200 have been built for global sale, with 30 being sold in the Middle East.”

The Corvette Range currently offers the legendary sports car in 6 flavors; Corvette Stingray, Corvette Stingray Z06 and the Corvette Stingray Grand Sport, each available in coupe and convertible.

Wherein the Stingray provides its driver with an everyday supercar experience, the Z06 dials it up to 11, with its supercharged 650HP V8 and track focused chassis. The arrival of the Grand Sport complements the high performance trio with the perfect combination of atmospheric power and razor like handling dedicated for drivers that want to venture on the track; whatever a discerning performance driver looks for, the Corvette has it covered for their inner race driver.

The 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collectors Editions comes in Watkins Glen Gray body color with Tension Blue fender hash marks. Inside, you’ll find a Collector Edition-exclusive Tension Blue leather-and-suede-wrapped interior with Blue accent stitching.
