Infiniti continues to build on its reputation in the global sports coupe segment as the new Q60 makes its European premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show. Here in the Middle East, the vehicle will be available in the first quarter of 2017.

The Q60 features a striking interpretation of Infiniti’s ‘Powerful Elegance’ design language, with taut, muscular lines and distinctive proportions. At the heart of the car is an all-new lightweight and sophisticated ‘VR30’ 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, which plays a key role in the Q60’s engaging yet refined drive experience.

The new engine, from the new and exclusive ‘VR’ powertrain family, continues the brand’s longstanding heritage of advanced six-cylinder powertrains. This new V6 is available in two states of tune – either 300 hp or high performance 400 hp all of which have been engineered to offer superior levels of power and torque, coupled with high standards of efficiency resulting in one of the best power-to-efficiency ratings in the sports coupe class.

Power from the high-performance VR30 engine is delivered as standard through the Q60’s rear wheels, although all-wheel drive is optional. The Q60 is also available with the company’s second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering – comprehensively modified from the ground-breaking first-generation system – and Infiniti’s new Dynamic Digital Suspension, which gives the sports coupe an optimal blend of ride comfort and class-leading response and agility. — SG
