MEGANE sedan, from the French manufacturer Renault, has claimed its position as first rank in the competition organized for the second time by the “Association of Automotive Journalists” in Turkey.
In the first round, seven finalists were chosen among 25 candidate automobiles voted by 78 members of the Association of Automotive Journalists. At the end of second round, out of seven finalists, Megane Sedan scored 4430 points and got chosen as “The Car of the Year”. During the ceremony in which Megane Sedan was found worthy of the first prize by the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Association of Automotive Journalists, Ufuk Sandık.
In the award ceremony the General Manager of Renault Mais has expressed his gratitude and happiness about the decision of the automotive journalists, particularly of the Chairman of the Executive Board and its members.

There lies million-euro investment and work of thousands of people behind this car. Above all, there lies the admiration of the people gained by this beauty.”
While being assessed on “design, road handling, ergonomics, emission rates, safety, level of equipment, price-value rate” criteria; Megane Sedan has claimed the first rank leaving its competitors behind.
It is produced in Renault Oyak factory in Turkey and exported to several countries: Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Morocco, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tunisia and Ukraine. — SG
