Outgoing Indian Consul General B.S. Mubarak recently handed over a souvenir and a certificate of appreciation to Behjat Ayub Zinjani (Najmi) for rendering various humanitarian services to Haj pilgrims. The certificate noted that Zinjani, a representative of Maulana Hifzurrehman Seoharvi Academy, has been distributing pamphlets and other religious material for use by pilgrims from India and also other parts of the world. “His services to the common public are commendable,” the citation noted. The souvenir consists of Islamic artwork (inset), especially carved on mud collected from Al-Khalil (Hebron) in Palestine. The graves of four of the most illustrious prophets — Ibrahim, his son Isaaq, his son Yaqoob and his son Yusuf (peace be upon them all) are situated in Al-Khalil. — Courtesy photo
