Rock-paper-scissors is an old, zero-sum hand game, yet, even vintage games can be transformed into art that can create change.

Rock-Paper-Scissors, a startup Saudi company participated in Besat El-Reeh, held from 12 to 17 June at the Jeddah Centre for Events and Forums.

Acoording to the marketing manager, Jannah Baarmah, the company started a year ago after the two cofounders, Rola Badkook, an entrepreneur, and Rafah Sahab, a play therapist, met and decided to create a business out of their mutual interest in playing.

“The startup company is aiming to strengthen connection and engagement in families and friend gatherings,” Baarmah said.

During Besat El-Reeh, the startup social enterprise showcased their Hejazi products, including Eid Carnival, Komkom, Bedon Kalam, and Color posters.
“The Eid Carnival was the first product that was launched to the market last year. It is a family product and Eid box that include five games. It went really well - we sold 70 percent in the first three weeks of last ramadan,” Baarmah said.
