President Trump’s visit to the Kingdom is not an ordinary one as it is the first foreign visit by him as president.
Three important summits were held during this historic visit.
The visit was also unusual because of the the very hectic and consummate preparations made in a very short time to host leaders of more than 50 countries.
We have every right to be proud of our ability to play our regional role.
Listen to what the US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said in his speech at the Saudi-US CEO Forum on Saturday: “I do not think any other county could have made such consummate preparations in such a short time for such a big event.”
He commended the preparations and said this reflects Saudi Arabia’s administrative capabilities which will play a pivotal role in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
“I also envy the Kingdom for its ability to come up with the slogan ‘Together We Prevail’ for this big occasion. We hope that we, in the US, will be able to come up with a similar slogan for this event next year in Washington,” he said.
“If we are not able to create a similar slogan, I hope that Saudi Arabia will allow us to borrow it,” he added.
This great work would never have been possible had it not been for the determination of citizens of this country, their perseverance and love for this great country.
