JEDDAH — The Ministry of Labor and Social Development has forced a company in the Eastern Province to pay delayed salaries of 276 workers belonging to different nationalities.

Officials in the ministry’s Eastern Province branch asked the company to transfer the money to the workers’ bank accounts.

The officials obliged the company to transfer its workers to its headquarters in Jeddah in preparation for moving their work location and also to repatriate those who want to return home permanently.

The officials intervened after the ministry’s office in Al-Khobar received complaints from the workers, who said they had not been paid for months.
The workers went on a strike and refused to return to work until all their salary dues are paid.

Saeed Al-Ghamdi, general manager of the labor office in the Eastern Province, said officials from the ministry held talks with company representatives and obliged them to pay all outstanding salary dues to the workers and take them back to work.

  1. Appeal to the Honorable Labor Minister:
Please do the same in case of Saudi Oger employees who have not been paid for over a year and have End of Service Benefits of many years due from Saudi Oger. Thousands have left the Kingdom without their dues and thousands are still here in the Kingdom waiting for their dues.
    Please do something about it.

  2. Another Appeal to the Honorable Labor Minister:
Please do the same in case of Hanidroob (situated in the Eastern Province Dammam 2nd Industrial area) – employees who have not been paid for over 3 months and have End of Service Benefits of many years due. Thousands have left the Kingdom without their dues and thousands are still here in the Kingdom waiting for their dues. The company took from them their iqama and bank ATM so that they will be forced to abide by their inhuman behavior , even they can’t go to Labour court for claim due to the disobedience of the company to the Kingdoms rule which is just and humanity oriented.
    Please do something about it.

  3. My case is also the same as brother Faiz has narrated.
I have 1 year & 4 months salary pending and 24 years end of service benefits from Saudi Oger Co.
