Kuala Lumpur — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received at his residence here on Tuesday a group of Saudi scholarship students studying in Malaysia and Malaysian students who graduated from Saudi universities.

Addressing the students, the King said: “You must know that you are from the land of the Qiblah (the direction that Muslims face during prayer five times every day). You should be role models. Whoever serves his country and the Two Holy Mosques, serves Islam and Muslims.”

President of the Association of Malaysian Graduates from Saudi Universities Jaafar Bin Saleh expressed thanks and gratitude to the King for the care, attention and good education in Saudi Arabia.

King Salman also held talks with Malaysian Minister of Defense Hishammuddin Hussein and his accompanying delegation.

They reviewed bilateral relations, prospects of cooperation between the two countries, and the latest developments in the region.
