Kuala Lumpur — The challenges facing the Muslim Ummah require more cooperation and solidarity among Islamic countries and peoples, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman reiterated here on Tuesday during his audience with the Muftis of Malaysian states and a number of Malaysian senior Islamic personalities.

The King talked about campaigns against Islam to undermine its moderation and tolerance.

King Salman called for tolerance and moderation and the efforts to combat extremism and terrorism in all forms. He emphasized the Kingdom’s keenness to provide everything it can to serve Islam and Muslims.

Mufti of Federal State Dr. Zu Alkifil Bin Mohammed Bakri thanked the King for his efforts to serve Islam, Muslims and the Two Holy Mosques.
