KAMPALA – Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni received here Thursday Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, currently on a visit to Uganda, following a similar visit to Tanzania, Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the meeting, Al-Jubeir conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to the Ugandan leader, government and friendly people. On his part, the President asked him to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
They also discussed bilateral relations and means to promote them, in all fields, in addition to coordination and consultation on regional and international issues of common interest.
On the other hand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who arrived here earlier in the day, has met with the Ugandan Minister of State for Foreign and International Affairs Henry Oryem Okello and discussed bilateral relations, apart from current events, in the region and the world. – SPA
