RIYADH - Members of the Yemeni community in the US will Wednesday organize a demonstration in front of the UN headquarters in New York decrying Iran's intervention in the affairs of their country.

The demonstration, in which a large number of Yemeni citizens are expected to participate, will be organized simultaneously with a UN Security Council's session to discuss the situation in Yemen.

A demonstrator, who did not want to be identified, said they were aimed at making it clear to the whole world particularly the Western public opinion that the Yemeni people are totally against the intervention of Iran in the affairs of their country.

He said they also wanted to hold Iran responsible for the bloodshed and destruction in Yemen in collaboration with the Houthis and the armed forces of the defunct president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The Yemeni community has asked the Security Council and the international human rights organizations to try Iran for its blatant intervention in the internal affairs of Yemen, its continued support of the war and for fighting the country's legitimate government.

On the other hand, the Arab Struggle Movement to Liberate Ahvaz will on Thursday organize a demonstration in front of the Iranian embassy in Vienna to demand the national rights of the non-Persian people.

The demonstrators will chant slogans condemning the crimes of the Iranian regime and its support of terrorism, violence and sectarianism in the region.

The Union of the Arab Clans and Families in Germany will also organize a demonstration in Berlin on Thursday to condemn the Iranian crimes.
