Coming from an opening defeat against Al Faisaliah, Sheraton made sure they got its first win. True enough, the boys of Sheraton overpowered the winless Movenpick Hotel Riyadh in the first half with 31-14 lead. Movenpick tried to rally and outscored Sheraton in the third canto to cut its deficit to single digit 38-29. However, the trio of Noli Moralit, Daji Aguilar and Allan Delos Reyes proved too much for the Movenpick to lock its first win. Sheraton in the end earned its first victory with 55-45 outcome, sending Movenpick to the cellar. Noli Moralit was named Best Player of the game with 24 points, 3 steals and a rebound. Al Sarif Nurani topped the scoring for Movenpick with 10 points complemented by 3 rebounds and 3 assists. It was a close run tie during the first two quarters but thanks to the lusty performance of Richard Eswan, who delivered 24 big points after the third quarter, separating themselves from the pesky Marriott with 44-34 entering the final canto. Marriott rallied and even bested Hyatt in the last quarter but fell short as time ran out on them. The match ended with Hyatt winning 62-56.
