Dar Al-Hekma obtains NCAAA accreditation

Saudi Gazette report JEDDAH — The National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation (NCAAA) has granted accreditation to Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah. The NCAAA accreditation is awarded to institutions that achieve an advanced level of best practices within the quality standards of the center. The university received a letter of accreditation from the NCAAA for the next five years. This achievement, which enhances Dar Al-Hekma's reputation, assures the community of the advanced quality of education at the university, came after the institutions met the strict standards set by NCAAA, according to a statement issued by the university. Dr. Suhair Al-Qurashi, president of Dar Al-Hekma, expressed her pleasure on this achievement and confirmed that such accreditation represented a culmination of the efforts of the university employees and their partnership with society. Al-Qurashi explained that this embodied the university’s position as a leading national institution that employed the highest standards in teaching, scientific research and community service. She said the accreditation stemmed from the university’s strategy that made excellence the core of work mechanism in all its programs and initiatives. The achievement holds special semantics in Dar Al-Hekma University as it derives its academic excellence, especially as the university in 2018 will launch a series of initiatives and programs that will establish its position in the local and regional levels., Al-Qurashi said. She said the university would translate the directives of its far-sighted leadership pertaining to enhancing the culture of creativity and innovation in all development fields, notably education, which tops the agenda of national priorities of Vision 2030. Dar Al-Hekma University has recently launched many postgraduate programs such as business administration, international relations, sustainable architecture, the science of speech and language disorders and education administration.
