IN cooperation with Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and the Ministry of Labor, Saudi Ground Services (SGS), the national ground handling service provider in all airports around the Kingdom, organized the first recruitment forum in Jeddah, under “Your Way to The Future” program in December 2017. The program aims to recruit fresh university graduates from both genders to work in service areas at King Abdulaziz International Airport Terminals.

“SGS new program “Your Way to The Future” was launched to recruit and train fresh Saudi graduates, and prepare them for the future. As part of our support to the Kingdom’s direction to empower Saudi women to become a productive part in our society, we started for the first time ever to recruit Saudi women to work at the main airports’ terminals,” Eng. Najjar added.
Bassam Albokhari, chief shared services officer at SGS, commented: “We have organized this forum to recruit fresh women graduates, and through the process we have received over 10,000 applications through our career online portal.”
“We have sorted the applications over four stages; based on grades, major and English language, after filtration, we conducted more than 160 interviews over four days, which took place in The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Jeddah. The overall selected applications were over 50% of total applicants,” Bassam added. — SG
