IIPSR to set up new premises in Malaz District

RIYADH — International Indian Public School Riyadh (IIPSR) will start functioning in the new premises in Malaz District soon. Indian Ambassador Ahmed Javed laid the foundation stone at the prime location in the city.
The state-of-the-art premises will have separate buildings for boys and girls with the total of 3,000 students spread over 1600 square meters. The school will be constructed by the renowned Rakhaa Holdings Company.
On this occasion Javed emphasized the necessity to expand keeping the constraints of the current building in mind. Later on the school celebrated Annual Day 2017for the boys in the morning and girls in the evening.
On this occasion, the chief guest Javed in his keynote speech congratulated the school management committee staff and students for construction of new building. He hoped that the next annual day would be celebrated at the new premises.
He also said, integrity and hard work are the keys to success in every field or endeavor in our life while ethics and values imparted by parents are very important in children’s life.
Javed also congratulated the students who won gold and silver medals in academics and sports, while calling on all children to strive for excellence.
Abdul Azeez, principal IIPSR, gave the welcome address and he read out the activities of the school during the current academic year.
IIPSR Chairman Abdul Malik announced that the new premises will be a ‘Go Green’ school with the additional facility of a girl’s swimming pool. He also said that hopefully the school would be celebrating its next annual day function at the school’s own building.
Ambassador Javed, Principal Abdul Azeez and Managing Committee members launched the school magazine. The ambassador also presented memento to teachers and staff members of IIPSR.
Guest of Honor Dr. Milfi Al Onazi, senior consultant and chairman, department of pediatric emergency at King Abdullah Specialized Children Hospital, congratulated IIPSR and said that education given by the Indian schools in the Kingdom is outstanding, adding, “After seeing the performances of the students showcasing the vast culture and tradition of India, I’m impressed.”
Observer of all Indian school Dr. Hifzur Rahman Azmi, first secretary Embassy of India Riyadh, the schools managing committee members, parents and community members were present.
The event was enriched by enthralling performances by students presenting the diverse culture of India through their dances, performances on festivals of India — Eid, Onam Diwali, Holi and Christmas — Rajasthani folk from Grade VI, welcome dance by Grade I, Nasheed by Grade IV to IX, Indian Folk and Fusion Dance, by Grade II, Free Style Dance by Grade III, Classical Fusion Challenge by Grade V and VI, World Cultural Presentation by Grade IV, Fusion Fiesta, by Grade IX, Presentation on Unity among Diversity by Grade V, Puppet Show by Grade VII, Puppet Show by Grade VII, National Integration Amalgamation Harmony through Attire Grade VIII, were awesome.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Vice Principal Shabana Parveen, National Anthem of the both the countries , India and Saudi Arabia, were played.
