JEDDAH — The Jeddah Overseas Basketbolista (JOB) Season 5 Invitational Basketball Tournament will kick off Friday at Saudi Champion Academy (SCA) Gymnasium on Television Street, Ghulail District here. Subhan Afzal, Marketing Admin. of Pinehill Arabia Food Limited, distributor of Indomie noodles, will be the chief guest during the opening ceremony. Indomie is the major sponsor of this championship. The co-sponsors are Pinoyexpatriate.com care (Muammar Mcno) and Western Union Money Transfer (Raul Austria). Jonathan Azupardo is the league’s commissioner and his wife Anne Azupardo the co-commissioner. They spearhead the Friday Morning and Evening League of JOB. Committee members include Roland Venterez, Eric Bautista, Aldy Libron, Allan Pesebre, Jorge Abreu and Jayson Ricamara. Industrial Referees Officiating Group (IROG) Reborn led by Chairman Ernie “Dr. Love” Adao and supported by Francisco Lirio, Forlito Lalic, Cristone Gonzales, Francis Deposa and Darwin Lucilo will handle the officiating for the three-month event. The Morning League teams: Saudi Ballers, Buffalo Wild Wings, OFW Gilas, Al-Khereiji (Petmalu), Jarir, Little Master, Maranaonians, Grease Monkey, Wildcats, Jeddah Cubs (Alshaya), Xplicit, and MJ Heavy Lift.
