Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday a delegation of The Elders, an independent group of global leaders. They reviewed the group’s efforts in strengthening world peace and stability. The delegation was led by Kofi Annan, former UN secretary general and chair of The Elders. He was accompanied by former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari, former Algerian foreign minister and UN diplomat Lakhdar Brahimi, former President of Mexico Ernesto Zedillo, and Chief Executive Officer of The Elders David Nussbaum. — SPA
