By Murali Dasan YANBU – Sums XI defeated Kashmir XI by 2 wickets in the Division II match and in Division I Pak Crescent A team defeated Indo-Riders A by 8 wickets to lift the SCC-YACA Royal T-20 Cup 2017-18 here last week. In Division II finals, Sums XI beat Kashmir XI by 2 wickets. Kashmir XI elected to bat and managed to score 124, Muhammad Wasim Javed topscored with 28 runs. Ahmed and Waseem Abbas took 3 wickets each giving 14 and 40 runs respectively. In reply Sums XI scored 129 for 8 in 18.4 overs. Waseem Abbas scored 65 runs off 44 balls. Kashif took 4 wickets. Waseem Abbas was declared Man of the Match. In Division I finals, Pak Crescent A beat Indo Riders A by 8 wickets. Indo Riders A elected to bat and scored 147 for 9. Naveed Akhtar scored a brisk 36 runs, and was supported by Jassam, who scored 26. Muhammad Shoaib Aziz and Altaf Tarana took 3 wickets each. Pak Crescent A in reply, scored the required runs in 17.2 overs. Muhammad Shoaib Aziz 70 runs and Ibrar Shahzad 51 runs shared a brilliant 100 runs partnership to take their team to victory, Muhammad Afzal took 2 wickets. Muhammad Shoaib Aziz was the Man of the Match.
