Gulf Madhyamam Educafe to be held in IISD on Saturday

Saudi Gazette report DAMMAM — The International Indian School Dammam (IISD) will host the second edition of the Gulf Madhyamam Educafe on April 7. There has been an overwhelming response from Indian students to register for the Mideast’s largest Indian education and career exhibition, to be held at the Boys Section auditorium of IISD, according to the organizers. The fair will provide Indian students of international schools from across the Eastern Province as well as their parents an opportunity to have close interaction with well-known educators and trainers. Information on higher education, career opportunities and skill development will be exchanged at the ‘Festival of Knowledge.’ Gulf Madhyamam, a leading Indian newspaper in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, is organizing the Mideast’s largest Indian education and career exhibition for the second time in the Kingdom. The first edition of the fair, held in Jeddah last year, was a great success. The following are the topics of the main sessions and the speakers: Career Development Strategies — APM Mohammed Haneesh (IAS), eminent education expert and former director of Kerala Public Education; powerful mindreading technique — Aathi Adarsh, celebrity mentalist; and life lessons for future success — Sayid Sultan Ahmed, renowned trainer from Bangalore. The fair will feature holistic exhibition on education & career; edutainment approach on education & career; counseling sessions to discover students’ true potential; career planning; fun laced intellectual games; sessions for parents and teachers; fun and frolicking for the family; and health checkup. All the preparations for the event are well in place, according to Hilal Hussain, marketing manager – KSA of Gulf Madhyamam. The registration for participation in the fest is nearing completion, said Shabeer M.P, event convener of Educafe. Entry will be restricted to those who have made prior registration, he added. Educational institutions from the GCC and India will have stalls on the sidelines of the festival. There will be a host of mind games with exciting prizes for the winners.
