BAHA — AROUND 66 percent of shoppers do not agree with shutting down stores at 9 p.m., according to a poll of shoppers at Riyadh malls. The same survey, conducted by the Center of Polls and Measuring, showed 44 percent of shoppers do not agree with women working in commercial stores, while the remainder agreed that female employees have succeeded in their roles. More than 3,000 people were surveyed at the shopping centers. Meanwhile, several shoppers said they prefer to do their shopping immediately after the dawn prayer when crowding and traffic congestion are minimal. This trend has allowed some shops to open around the clock to cater for shoppers during all hours of the day.
