Lets get this right. Everyone wants a piece of the pie but Sandance was generous this time. They gave a little more than what you asked for. Superstar DJs Axwell, Ingrosso performed  along wih Rudimental and US hip-hoppers De La Soul, with Aussie electro duo Empire of the Sun and Clean Bandit who had one of the biggest hits this year.

Dubai’s favorite Atlantis beach was filled with 11,000 music lovers from all across the Middle East. De La Soul set the stage ablaze with their live performance. They doled out old school hits like ‘Me Myself and I’ and even paid homepage to J Dilla.

Empire of the Sun definitely created generous hype for Sandance this year. With a theatrical performance from a hazy beginning to an end with Luke Steele smashing his guitar as he faded away from stage, the band received loudest applause for ‘We are the People’ and ‘Alive’ among other older hits. You could ‘Feel the Love’ with Rudimental playing a year later at Sandance.

The drum and bass induced set was a favourite amongst the crowd with hits including ‘Free’ featuring Emeli Sande and ‘Waiting All Night’. Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be’ one of the best radio hits this year, and most sought after track from the concert, created excitement and pushed fun back into overdrive.

Axwell and Ingrosso played it right with hits from their new collaboration and wooed the crowd with Swedish House Mafia’s last super hit ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ depicted by stunning visuals and CO2 blasts every five seconds.
