Imagine your mother is traveling to another city to visit your grandmother, and you will be left alone at home. Does that sound scary? Does it make you cry? Do you cry when you get less mark in exams or fight with your best friend?

Ask your parents, you all must have cried on your first day of school. Another interesting fact is that we all cried the second we were born. Doctors say that children who do not cry when they are little babies are not normal.

So, yes crying is normal. Everyone cries; some cry when they are afraid, some cry when they fight, some cry after getting hurt, while others cry when they are hungry, and there are those who cry when they are happy.

Crying is when water (tears) comes out from your eyes and you are feeling emotional. There are several other reasons why eyes produce tears.

• An external object is imitating your eye. It could be your eye lash or speck of dust, smoke and even onions.

• Tears are also produced when your body is fighting with the fever or cold inside your body.

• When you are crying, it could be tears of happiness or sadness.

Ears are produced in Tear glands, found under your upper eye-lid. Tears come out through tear ducts (two in number) which run between your eyes. This is the reason why your nose sometimes runs when you cry as some of the tears end up coming out of nose.

esearcher say that crying is a good thing.  They are of the opinion that if you have a good cry, you’ll feel much better after that. So if you feel upset about something, then crying may help you to feel better. It washes away the confusion, and you’ll have a clear mind later. Don’t be afraid of crying and just don’t forget to wash your face and smile after that.

INTERESTING FACTS:

• Baby boys cry more than baby girls.

• In most part of the world, men are not allowed to cry as crying there is a symbol of weakness.

• In other part of the world, crying shows that a person care for others.

• When we laugh really hard, we usually end up having tears in our eyes (crying).

• Males and females have different reasons to cry.
