JEDDAH — Under the slogan "Pink Fighter", Femi9 continued its annual campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of breast cancer and methods of its prevention in cooperation with Zahra Breast Cancer Association and Gold's Gym.

This year's campaign witnessed large numbers of women who participated in the campaign and helped meet its goals to challenge and spread awareness about breast cancer.

The campaign’s main event was the “Rose March” in Jeddah’s Red Sea Mall that attracted many women dignitaries interested in fighting breast cancer and spreading awareness about the disease, its causes and prevention.

In addition, a “Pamper and Protect” activity was held at Gold’s Gym, which hosted fitness and stamina exercise challenges supervised by specialized trainers.

Nutrition and therapeutic health consultant Rowaida Idris spoke about the benefits of healthy food and how it could reduce breast cancer.

She also emphasized the importance of detecting the disease early.

On this occasion, supporting organizations thanked Eyad Mashat, CEO of FAD International that is responsible for the Femi9 organization, for the innovative ideas and events supporting women in various fields, especially in health and breast cancer awareness.

Femi9 also thanked all sponsors and supporters of the campaign.

The October Campaign was first launched in 2006.

Organizations worldwide use the pink ribbon as its logo to raise awareness about breast cancer annually, with the aim of providing support and information to tackle the disease.
