When you are running late for school in the morning, you dress up quickly to catch your bus and reach school on time. While during all this, your mom is asking you to do your breakfast first, but you do not feel hungry enough to have breakfast.
Ever wondered why your parents want you to have a breakfast even though you might not reach school on time? Is it that important?
The answer is yes! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It makes you ready for the whole day, just as fuel helps cars to start and reach its destination. Researchers say that kids and adults who eat breakfast have more energy, do better at school and work and remain healthy throughout their lives. People who don’t eat breakfast regularly feel tired, frustrated, irritable and restless. Your mood really depends on how you feel.
According to studies, 12-34 percent of kids and adult regularly miss the morning meal. Having a breakfast should be your priority whether you are a kid or adult.

Prepare for school before going to bed by doing homework on time and checking your bag pack.
Don’t wake up just 5 minutes before you leave for school. Give yourself at least 15 minutes so you can have your breakfast easily.
A big No to TV, computer or video games in the morning.
If you don’t feel much hungry in the morning, at least have fresh juice, fruit smoothie, milk or yoghurt.
